Semar Sentinel is an advisory firm specializing in Business and Security Intelligence, providing a comprehensive range of services in business intelligence, political risk, security, defense, and aerospace sectors. We are currently seeking dedicated interns to join our team as Policy Analyst Interns, offering a dynamic professional environment to grow and learn.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Defense and Strategic Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (strong written and verbal communication skills).
- Solid understanding of defense and security trends in Indonesia, including industry and cooperation.
- In-depth knowledge of policies and decision-making processes related to Indonesia’s defense sector.
- Critical thinking skills to provide micro and macro analyses on emerging issues in Indonesia.
- Understanding and interest in one or more topics: politics, economy and business, security, defense, aerospace.
- High agility and adaptability in a fast-paced working environment and dynamic teams.
- Strong understanding of research ethics and commitment to conducting research with integrity.
- High attention to detail, especially in data management and report writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
Job Description:
- Participate in daily and weekly deliverables on specific issues.
- Contribute to reports and provide insights and analysis on specific topics (economy and business, security, defense, aerospace).
- Assist in various research projects.
- Provide key takeaways and analyses on current issues for our clients.
